We build technology that respects teachers, supports students, and fits how schools really work.
Technology should amplify great teaching, not get in its way.
Direct relationships with the people who use what we build.
The same craft across products — from brand to deployment.
Where we use AI, it's transparent, purposeful, and appropriate for young people.
4Sight Education started with a simple conviction: the tools schools use should be as thoughtful as the people who work in them.
In 2020, Anthony Dennis built the first version of the VESPA Portal — a coaching platform designed to help sixth-form tutors have better conversations with their students. The framework behind it, developed alongside co-founders Martin Griffin and Steve Oakes, had already been used in hundreds of schools through their books The A Level Mindset and The GCSE Mindset. But the portal turned a set of ideas into something interactive, measurable, and scalable.
That first build sparked something bigger. The idea behind 4Sight was never to create a single product — it was to become a launchpad for education-focused technology. If VESPA proved that a well-designed platform could genuinely change how schools approach student development, what else could be built?
FL4SH arrived next — an AI-powered flashcard app that does something no other revision tool does: it works from the actual exam specification, trained on real past papers and mark schemes. SPARK followed, extending the validated psychometric approach from post-16 down to Key Stage 3. And most recently, schools have been asking Anthony to build their websites too — leading to a growing web development practice through 4site.dev.
4Sight Education remains a small company by design. Every product is built by the same person who speaks to the schools that use them. That closeness to the end user isn't a limitation — it's the entire point.
Martin Griffin and Steve Oakes publish The A Level Mindset. Schools across the UK begin adopting the VESPA approach to student coaching.
Anthony builds the VESPA Portal — turning the framework into a digital platform with questionnaires, coaching reports, and activity tracking. 4Sight Education is born.
AI-powered flashcards built from real exam specs launch on iOS and Android. The first product beyond VESPA proves the 4Sight model works.
A psychometric mindset tool for 11–14 year olds, developed with Manchester Met University. The VESPA approach reaches younger students for the first time.
Schools and education professionals start asking for websites. A new arm of 4Sight Education opens, bringing the same design quality to school-facing web development.
